This month, Epoch was pleased to be the host of a Lean Event. The Dalian Development Area Lean Network was initiated by Chassis Brakes International for the purpose of sharing Lean knowledge and experience. The network includes Sodecia, Liebherr, ZKW, CBI, Epoch, and Ikea. Twenty-five people, working in the areas of process, production, logistics, and equipment maintenance, took part in the events.
In the spirit of experience sharing and learning, Epoch gave a tour of its LEED Platinum certified facility. During the tour, there were a lot of discussions about sustainability, intelligent building design and the company’s core values and culture. In the production workshop, visitors were able to see Epoch’s processes, including our in-house developed material management cabinets, and make comments and suggestions from a Lean perspective.
Epoch appreciated all the discussions, ideas, and feedback generated during this visit.
