Epoch Participates in an Environmental Protection Forum

Three of our colleagues (Our Director of Operation – Nathan Ashelman, HR Manager -Nancy Lu, and Production Manager – Crystal Zhang ) represented Epoch International at the 2017 CSR Promotion on Environmental Protection Forum held in Shenyang this month. The forum was jointly sponsored by Intel, the Circular Economy Promotion Center, and the American Consulate. The forum was led by keynote speaker Ms. Cheryl Rosario, Director of Corporate Social Responsibility & Philanthropy at Wyndham Worldwide Corporation. It was able to bring together government representatives, members of the business community, company CSR managers, and university academics to discuss and promote environmental protection through active CSR programs. Discussion topics focused on employee involvement and the importance of cooperative, sustainable, transparent CSR programs. Participants were reminded about the importance of fostering a culture of philanthropy and community service that involves employees skills, hearts, and minds. Our Epoch team was happy to share our company’s CSR experience with fellow attendees. The Epoch CSR program was established in the year 2000.  We focus in the areas of education, senior welfare, underprivileged women and children, rural outreach and environmental protection. Our employees have been serving the Dalian area community and beyond for 17 years now.  In addition, as our investment into a state of the art Leed Platinum candidate facility shows, we are deeply committed to environmental protection.
