On this International Women’s Day, we would like to once again reaffirm our commitment to gender parity at Epoch. Women play an important role at every level of our business and we are unswerving in our dedication to the recruitment, growth, and retention of women professionals.
During a discussion regarding women at Epoch, our HR Manager Nancy Lu had the following to say: “At Epoch, we ensure that we provide equal job opportunities, training, and career development for women.” According to Nancy, not only does Epoch have the culture of striving to recruit talented women but the company also additionally ensures that each and everyone is given the chance to flourish in the organization by making sure the doors for learning, growth, and advancement are wide open for women just as they are for men.
“At Epoch the ratio of men to women is almost equal,” our Sales Director Adam Alatif points out in another conversation on the topic, “There’s a well-balanced system at Epoch in which men and women work side by side to drive a common goal.“ We not only believe ensuring gender parity is the right thing to do, we also think it is good for business.
As an organization, we strive to make sure that women are an integral part of our business. According to Mr. Alatif, “the presence of women at the Epoch workplace is visible not just physically but also through their highly-valued daily contribution. We make mentoring personal and have an environment that encourages open discussions.”
In other words, we provide the space for our women employees to develop their talent and to grow within and outside of their present roles. We want every woman at Epoch International to reach her full potential both at the workplace and in her personal life.
